Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes--What’s your relationship with Change?

What comes up when you hear the word, change?  

Do you believe “the more things change the more they stay the same?”  

Do you dread change?

Fear it?

Fight it?

Want it?

Try to make it happen only to experience more of the same in your life?

Let’s face it, as inevitable as change is, it can come with a lot of baggage.

This month as we dive into the theme of BREATHING and AWARENESS, let’s consider how we roll with change.


Reflect back on the past few years.  

For me, it feels like I’ve lived several lifetimes--you too?!  So much has changed.

Kids grow--they never stop, do they?

Jobs change, houses change, schedules change.  

We change!

During the past 5 years alone, I’ve had several health issues to attend to, a child in crisis--so I drop everything and focus there, 4 different moves across the country, and the Heart Nature DoTERRA  business which keeps growing!

With each change I’ve faced, I needed to:

  • learn new skills

  • I discovered new things about myself and the world

  • and I changed also.

I am not the same person I was 5 years ago.

I’m not even the same person I was last year!  (Thank goodness!)

Can you relate? I’m betting your life has been full of those ups and down, life lessons, storms to be braved, things to celebrate and whirlwinds and days of calm too.


Sometimes pausing to look back can give us greater appreciation for how far we’ve come, or more compassion for how we are struggling.

It can also bring AWARENESS to our relationship with change itself.  

I invite you to reflect, to pause, to BREATHE and to consider joining me on a journey to embrace the process of change instead of fight it.

This February in our Heart Nature Healthy Habits unit we will learn to Breathe in new ways.  We will discover WHY and HOW conscious breathing is so powerful. And we will grow in AWARENESS of ourselves because:
